One of my alltime fave trips to enemy ground was Buffalo - I went to opening week the year after the MCM and wore my old Earl jersey.

I got a lot of hell, a LOT. In the stadium, we had great seats, and again, I got a lot of hell. It all stopped for the most part over the huge guy sitting next to us, a massive Bills fan wearing his Thurman Thomas jersey. He forced me into a hug, and said don't worry, stick with him. Then after the Bills took the lead, he forced me into another hug.

Then when the Titans tied the game, I rose up and screamed at him, "where's my hug now?" - he was a good sport too, and gave me one.

I am convinced the only reason I got out of there in one piece was because of that dude. He was 6-4, 250 easy.
