A concussed player will be tested daily, including through days of practice that can have controlled contact like one-on-one drills (which would come under the label of "limited practice"). In order to return to game play, he will need a 2nd neurologist, independent of one employed by the team, evaluating him and concurring that he is appropriate to return to regular game play. That will unlikely occur before Sunday.
How did he get the concussion, anybody knows?
