Schaub has become much more immobile than ever before his injury. Being able to smoothly roll out does not prove mobility. He cannot sharply change direction to get outside the tackles out of the way of any rush. He therefore has little choice but to try to stay in the pocket, throw too soon or hold on to the ball too long. As long as the pass protection maintains, his immobility remains relatively hidden. Without the impeccable pass protection that he enjoyed last season, you will see his disability glaringly exposed.
