BIGGEST LETDOWN
  • A.J. Jenkins: The Niners first round pick looked like one of the worst wide receivers on the field most of minicamp. He didnít play with the first- or second-team offense on Tuesday, and he didnít catch a pass in scrimmages on Wednesday. He had trouble staying on his feet all three days, which was odd considering it was a non-contact minicamp. Overall, undrafted receivers Nathan Palmer and Brian Tyms caught many more passes and made more impressive plays than Jenkins did...
The AJ Jenkins pick surprised everybody! I thought they were definitely going to draft Hill at that spot. Hill made a lot more sense because he could come in with a similar frame as Moss and learn from a future HOFer. Posey I think will probably make the most progress between the start of training camp and the end up it simply because of the time he's missed on the field.
