yeah, the team played in Reliant and beat Katy in the playoffs but they couldn't pass the ball really. The little guy was their best passer and is a hell of a blocker and a high motor kid. If you look at one of those pitch plays, he turns from QB to smash mouth blocker guy. Gotta admire the kid though...he didn't let a lack of measurables keep him out of the lineup. Lots of heart and toughness, and seriously a hell of a blocker for real.
There is a sophomore QB that has more size and zips the ball around pretty good. There is always a stiff breeze in Bulldog Stadium since its right by the water, so its good to have a bigger arm back there. Last year the team was loaded with underclassmen with big skill sets. It should be fun watching those guys play a year older and bigger.

Gonna be fun watching his son Jayson, and a couple other kids I know who will be playing. BUT, most of all, it'll be fantastic watching my grandaughter dance with the Chato's, if she decides to do it. She made the team, but, not sure she wants to do it. I'll suport her with whatever decision she makes!
It's been fun watching the kids and it will be great to see you there next season. Jayson is a hard working dude. Football is helping him prepare, compete, and assert himself. I've noticed he eats more and more pizza at the weekly Bible study class some of the kids have up at the HS. He was always too polite to eat too much before.
