Looks like Mersiles is thinking about a comeback. Apparently he's contacted the Dolphins about a try out for the team.

Joe Schad, of the Palm Beach Post, reports representatives for free agent RB James Allen (Texans) have contacted the Miami Dolphins for a possible tryout with the team. "I got the impression that they are going to take their time," said Steven Mandell, the agent for Allen, who worked out with the club in May." Allen retired before the 2003 season, but has since moved to South Florida from Texas and is close with Dolphins DE Jay Williams.
