Default Highschool combine 24th & 25th

Quote:

Here's something I think every high school football player in the area should be aware of, so please help me spread the word. I think it's a great idea.

Former Oilers center Carl Mauck, a long-time NFL offensive line coach, former Oilers linebackers coach John Paul Young and former college head coach Jim Hess are conducting combines around the state for high school players.

The combines are free, and the idea is to get on film as many players as possible so they can be distributed to college coaches to help the players get scholarships. No college coaches are allowed to attend

So far, they've had combines in East Texas, the Metroplex and in Odessa. Houston is April 24-25 at the Legends Sports Complex in The Woodlands. The Austin area will be in May.

Players get weighed and measured. They run every drill at the combine. This way, college coaches get accurate heights, weights, speeds, etc.
