Default Solomon: Texans hope to avoid ticket slump

I definitely have noticed that the Texans no longer say they have season ticket waiting list like they had before and it seems like they are pushing single game tickets more.

Quote:
Are the Texans, who have sold out every home game in the franchise's history, heading into the dreaded NFL blackout territory?
“That's not an issue for us,” team president Jamey Rootes said. “There are not many seats available for any games this year. There are seats we hold back and release slowly in the marketplace. That is what you're seeing.”
This is reassuring. Though I have season tickets and go to every game, I would absolutely hate to have blackouts again in Houston. If things go as they should and the Texans make the playoffs, the Texans won't have to worry about ticket sales especially considering the economy has to improve hopefully.
