Frank Wychek was there, and many of the pieces of a once dominating O-line were still in place. The defense wasn't really that bad. Blaine Bishop anyone? Barron Wortham, Gary Walker, Darrell Lewis. BTW, special teams weren't all that bad either, Al Del Greco, Reggie Roby and Mel Gray. Tennessee had just drafted Derrick Mason (R) that off-season.
BTW, the expansion draft for the Texans was different than other expansion drafts in that the Texans were required to spend almost 40% (or about $28 million) of their cap space -or-required to draft 30 guys in the draft alone.

You beat me to it. How can a self-identified Titans fan not remember these players? Good grief, they were given a team with a Hall-of-Fame offensive lineman in Bruce Matthews and Pro-Bowlers in Brad Hopkins and Mark Stepnoski, along with a young stud RB and a third-year QB who was drafted third overall.
Yeah, that 8-8 team they stole really had it rough.
