'eh, in the big scheme of things, that's pretty tame. And to be honest, just about every Steelers fan that I've met treats those things like they are some kind of holy clothe or something. I find the incident amusing, but do not be surprised of the ire it might provoke from Steelers Nation (including the players). Like I said, that towel is some kind of talisman to them, with angels singing "hwuaaaaaaaa" every time it is waved around.
