Danario Alexander
San Diego tendered him as a RFA but only as an original tender. He was undrafted so this tender carries no draft pick compensation. He went undrafted because of a knee injury at the Senior Bowl. He would have been a mid-round pick if not for the injury.
He would be an excellent #2 WR if he can stay healthy. That is a big issue with him, but it might be worth the risk. We should offer him a good contract that San Diego might not match and see what happens. If they decline then we could cut or restructure Walter. This guy is a top of the line #2 WR if he's healthy. Line him up across from Andre and that's lethal. |

If we could get him on a split contract for minimum, sure go for it. Otherwise, no.
