Culp played his first six years with the Chiefs the next six with the Oilers.

He made the Pro Bowl once with the Chiefs, and six times with the Oilers (4 times as first teamer, and twice as second teamer.)

He's an Oiler Pro Bowler and HOF.
The Chiefs got squat for not bringing him back, whatever the reason was.

From there, he like many others that went to that league were almost treated like traitors and scabs since they tried to sign and play for both leagues. Curly Culp and Robert Brazille were the two best defensive players I've ever seen play live probably.
