NFL Bacon Numbers
More fun with statistics! Pulled out of Reddit.
If you haven't heard of the Bacon Number, it's the number of actors that you need to connect a random actor to Kevin Bacon, using movies they were both in. Almost any actor in a Hollywood movie is connected within 6 degrees. Well, the NFL's bacon number is basically another variant of the NFL Parity Wheel, it shows how many games it takes to make you lose to another team. Examples: - Houston beat Chicago, so our winning Bacon Number for them is 1. (lower is better.) - Houston lost to GB, who lost to the Giants, so our losing Bacon Number for the Giants is 2. (higher is better.) This season, every team has a maximum of 4 degrees of separation, even with the ****ty teams like the Jags and Chiefs. http://i.imgur.com/gSJmi.png On average, for the Texans it takes 1.77 games to beat a team, and 2.68 games to lose to a team... so if you wanted to treat this as a statistical power ranking, we're 2nd in losses and 3rd in wins. |

This either contains secret al qaeda code for their next terrorist attack or one of those 3d pictures that you have to look at with your eyes unfocused. I hate those.
