Re: Texans Players Pro Bowl Totals with 5 weeks of Voting left
Fan voting sucks in my opinion. It counts as 1/3rd of the vote but if it were up to me it would be more like 1/4th or 1/5th. With fans it's about voting for their own team and voting for names they recognize. Troy Polamalu is in front according to the fans and he's played in what? 2 games? 3?

I'm sorry, did I read that Caldwell is ahead of Smith at guard? :strangle:

I'm a little surprised that Watt isn't closer to Arian in vote totals. That guy has been on a full-on media tour this year.

***************** For PB voting for Texans players, use the above link because for each position the Texans player is nominated he appears at the top of that page, i.e., you don't have to search thru the entire page to find the Texans player to vote for. This is a big deal for most of these guys, so whether or not we make it to the SB I think they value being selected to the all-star game. |

Wow, Duane Brown is the best LT in the game. He damned well better make the pro-bowl.

Re: Texans Players Pro Bowl Totals with 5 weeks of Voting left
Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson, left tackle Duane Brown and quarterback Matt Schaub are among those who would not be in the Pro Bowl if fan voting ended today and was the sole basis for selection
At guard, where the top three make it, Texans right guard Antoine Caldwell ranks third and left guard Wade Smith fourth. At center, where the top two make it, 2011 Pro Bowler Chris Myers ranks fifth. http://www.houstontexans.com/news/ar...8-d669d77709dc ******************** Of Andre Johnson, Matt Schaub, Duane Brown, Wade Smith, Chris Myers, & Antoine Caldwell, Caldwell is the only one in that group who's not presently a starter and he's also the only one of the group who goes to the PB according to the Texans Nick Scurfield. Now explain that one to me ? |
