Schefter 'insight' turning mock drafts on their ear???

If true, this would deem most early round draft mocks worthless...

Adam Schefter wrote in an ESPN Insider Q & A that he believes the Vikings will pass on USC LT Matt Kalil with the No. 3 pick.

They could use an impact WR that can actually stay healthy unlike Harvin.

I dont understand the significance.

I don't think it changes too much. Probably go something like this:

1. Luck
2. Griff
3. Blackmon
4. Richardson
5. Claiborne
6. Kalil
...

In any case, I think those are the top 6 picks of the draft, just maybe not in that order.

Every mock I've seen has Kalil at 3. Shakes up the top of the board, opens the door for surprises up there. Not earth shattering, I guess, but changes things up if true ..... and Schefter doesn't usually blow smoke for attention, imo.

Didnt Irsay just tweet about going to see Ziggy if you want a chance to draft Tannehill? And now this? Sounds like the Vikings are trying to freak out some teams to jump up.
