Has anyone checked out the SaintsReport lately?

I think they are over-emphasizing our exuberance to the point that they think we are over-confident. From my opinion, I don't think we have a majority on this board that thinks we are going to win that game, much less think it's a sure thing.

That's sad isn't it? Might have to do with 10 years of getting hopes up, only to have them crushed.

10 years not-withstanding, it's not like we're talking about the Kansas City Cheifs without Jamal Charles, the Colts without Manning, or a team out of the AFC West.

We've got a list of games that we know are going to be tough & winning all of those (I think it's five) is not likely to happen.

The Saints are on that list.

I have a lot of admiration for the Saints and want to use this game as something of a measuring stick for the Texans. I think that we've come a long way but I see problems here and there. Things we may not be able to get away with against a top-tier team and the Saints are the first top-tier team we face this year.

Nothing but respect for them. At the same time I know the Texans can play and so nothing is carved in stone. I'm hoping we steal one at their house. It can happen.

The Saints are favored so it ain't the end of the world if we lose. The NFL is too tough a league to expect your team to steamroll everyone.
