Tivy had a defensive stand at the end of the game and beat San Antonio Madison 39-34

In a game that featured two of the most talked about high school football players in the state - Manziel and Madison senior running back Aaron Green - the Tivy defense may have stolen the show with a last-minute goal-line stand. After a pass interference call on Tivy put the ball on its own 5-yard line, Madison was ready to take the lead and win. But an illegal procedure penalty pushed the Mavericks back to the 10-yard line.

Tivy plays at Lake Travis this coming weekend. Lake Travis is raned #1 in the state and Tivy is in top 10 (8th on the link at the beginning of the season)

should be a good game.

19-3 Tivy over Lake Travis half way in 2nd .. Manziel is killing them

#5 (tivy ) against #4(lake travis) in 4A

Lake travis has been playing a 4-2- 5 defense so far

19-16 Tivy over Lake Travis .. LT gets the ball at halftime .. Tivy's defense does suck so it will depend on if Tivy's offense can keep scoring
