High School Weekly Reports
Please share your favorite team(s) news so we can all encourage and congratulate as a group.
I have two favorites: Willowridge -- always and forever, too much history there. The enrollment has dropped significantly, the team is small and have experienced significant struggles over the last few years. We have a new coach this year and the boys who were winless last year, have gone forward and won two games, one of which they were predicted to lose by 30. Hightower -- First a big shout out to A. J. Highsmith, former quarterback and now a freshman at University of Miami (Hurricanes) for playing in his first game as a college student. The Hurricanes (Hightower) are off to a great start, and will face their toughest district challenger, Elkins, this weekend. If fortunate enough to go undefeated, or at least win District, then we can see how this year's team will progress in the post season. Given that all compeitition was within the FBISD with the exception of Eisenhower, it will be interesting to see how well the team will perform at the next level. Good luck and a good week for our favorite teams! |

Shout out to Klein Collins High School:
6-0 (3-0) and not getting nearly enough credit. Beating teams by an average score of 30-9. |
Re: High School Weekly Reports
Congratulations Hightower! Hightower is now 7-0 after defeating Elkins, now 6-1, 23-0. Way to go Canes!
Congratulaitons Willowridge on win over Bush 20-13. Way to go Eagles! |

That average score was pretty darn close lol. |
Re: High School Weekly Reports
Klein Collings, in its 7th year of existence, had its 1st perfect regular season ever. 10-0 (7-0) and now face Oakridge in the 1st round of the playoffs.
The suspense? The head football coach at Oakridge used to be the Defensive Coordinator at KC. Also, the current head coach at KC was the Offensive Coordinator at Oakridge 2 years ago. Talk about familiarity. |
Re: High School Weekly Reports
Congrats to Klein Collins on the victory over Oak Ridge. Hightower beat Galveston Ball 48-21 on Saturday. They will play Beaumont Westbrook this Saturday in Galena Park. Good luck Canes!
