Should I drop Roy Williams?
I am getting real tired of taking up a roster spot on "potential". So far it has been a waste and I am really conisdering just dropping him so I can navigate my bye weeks better. I want to be ahead of the curve, and I have held on to players too long in the past that were supposed to produce and never did. I just don't want to get burned again.
Thoughts? For reference, my other WR's and RB's are: Santana Moss M. Colston J. Cotchery (worried about him too, maybe Braylon will start drawing double teams after the way he played last night and it will free this guy up) Sidney Rice RB's A. Peterson C. Portis C. Williams (thinking about dropping him too but I can't since he is supposed to be the go to guy) Sammy Morris |
Re: Should I drop Roy Williams?
Looking at possible trade offers I could make:
Give up: C. Williams (RB) R. Williams (WR) Get: B. Favre (as back up) M. Forte He also has R. Rice, R. Williams, R. Grant ----------------Or------------ Get: T. Jones (RB) D. Garrard (QB) He also M. Barber, M. Turner, R. Brown, C. Taylor. In week 8 I am going to be hurting for a QB and a RB. |

I could throw in Cothcery with those two and ask for a stud RB?

Re: Should I drop Roy Williams?
I'd hold onto him. Miles Austin just had a 250 yard game over there and that won't be happening every week. Roy is still the #1 over there, and could end up producing a big game or two if Miles Austin can. Plus, you never know if one of your WR's will get hurt or not, so you might end up needing him because of injury and for your bye weeks.
