2009 Texans Talk Member Mock Draft
 

I know we didn't do one last year which was disappointing, but I figured we could do a couple this year.

2 or 3 rounds.
Starts after the Super Bowl.
24 hour clock in the 1st round.
12 hour clock in the 2nd and 3rd.
Trades can be done via PM.

Anyone interested, or have any suggestions on how this should be done?

I'm interested. I think if you know a team pretty well, you should be the GM of that team. Obviously we all know the Texans pretty darn well. Count me in and you can slot me with any team that needs filling. Preferably one that actually has a 1st round pick! :)

Why cant we do one now and one after the combine? Its not like we have anything else to do or we wouldnt be here everyday.:whip:

Simply for the sake of accuracy. From now until the combine and pro days, player rankings are going to be very fluid. Guys like Matt Jones are going to come out of nowhere and cement themselves as first rounders whereas guys like Brandon Siler or Lamaar Woodley, who were thought of as first or early second rounders at this time in the process dropped like flies after the Senior Bowl and combine.

That being said, it could be fun to do this now, then one later and compare the two.

It's the off-season. Why not do one now, LOL.

In fact, it might be interesting/fun to see how far off the first one is from the last one.

We can do the 1-10,000 thing or just give the Texans to the OP. Doesn't matter to me!

I'll do any team but top choices would be the Texans (duh), Cowboys, or Bucs.
