2005 Draft
The season is over, and I think it's time to move on from the disappointing end. So, in that sense here are ESPN's top 15 OL and 10 DL draft picks. I think the Texans should take a DL first and address the OL in free agency/2nd or 3rd round picks. What are your takes?
Tackle: 1. Alex Brown, Florida State 2. Jammal Brown, Oklahoma 3. Adam Terry, Syracuse 4. Chris Colmer, N.C. State 5. Logan Mankins, Fresno State Guard: 1. David Baas, Michigan 2. Marcus Johnson, Ole Miss 3. Elton Brown, Virginia 4. Dan Buenning, Wisconsin 5. C.J. Brooks, Maryland Center: 1. Ben Wilkerson, LSU 2. Vince Carter, Oklahoma 3. Dylan Gandy, Texas Tech 4. Scott Mruczkowski, Bowling Green 5. Drew Hodgdon, Arizona State Defensive End: 1. Dan Cody, Oklahoma 2. Erasmus James, Wisconsin 3. Matt Roth, Iowa 4. Marcus Spears, LSU 5. David Pollack, Georgia DT: 1. Travis Johnson, Florida State 2. Shaun Cody, USC 3. Anttaj Hawthorne, Wisconsin 4. Mike Patterson, USC 5. Ronald Fields, Mississippi State |
Your missing two of the elite OT prospects in the draft in D'Brickashaw Fergeson and Alex Barron. With the 13th pick the Texans would be lucky to have one of these guys fall to them, after them I think the rest of the Tackles are 2nd round worthy. Erasmus James, Hathorne and Marcus Spears are a posiblity as is Mathius Kawanuka. I think he would be a monster OLB inour 3-4 scheme.

Alot of experts already have Alex Barron landing in Houston with the 13th pick. I personally would like O line.
|
O-Line would be great but I would rather have a proven veteran picked up in Free Agengy and go with a DE to help bolster the pass rush.
|
barron falling to us all depends on if D'Brickashaw Ferguson declare and if the titans let go of one of their tackles and if the browns want a qb over barron.
