Monday Morning Draft Revisonist
 

I'm reading a lot of people dissatisfied with NFL team drafts not just the Texans alone as evidenced from Jaguar land and I've come to the conclusion that there needs to be a Mock Draft @ HoustonTexans.com. Only one lucky person can be the Texans GM and that distinct honor has to go to Vinny. After that on a first come first serve basis ( I'll take the Jags) until all 32 teams are signed up. We should start early & do one right away with only those eligible & declared soon after the bowls finish up, then still have time for a final tune-up before draft day after the combines have completed and all eligible prospects are known to all.

This way you will have to feel the pain all year as GM of your team if you are the one making the mistakes or the glory for your teams triumphs as your rookies excell to become the CREAM OF THE CROP.

p.s. I would also suggest that its limited to three rounds for time constraints.

I'm up for it. I don't really care what team I am, but I'd like to go with the Saints since I think that's who I was on the HPF mock last year.

Ok guys, I will create a mock draft forum to host our annual multi-participant Mock draft sometime this weekend. texansfan88 and beerlover can manage this if you wish. I can set up the forum and the threads and give you editing powers in that specific forum if you would like to help run our 2005 version. I'm thinking we can do an early mock and then one right about combine time.

I will need some help with a top-10 prospect list at each draftable position, and will create pinned threads for announcements, picks, and one for the mock itself as it unfolds.
