Should Texans Sign Another Running Back?

With Green and Brown in the whirlpool most of the time and turf toe on Slaton shouldn't they sign another back? If Taylor gets hurt Kubes might have to bring back the run and shoot.

I think signing Rudi would be a mistake. He added 15 pounds of muscle, and he isn't exactly fast to begin with, and I don't think he's good catching out of the backfield.

The Texans are going to start Green week 1. I would not be surprised to see Brown cut. We just need to get guys some consistent carries behind the first line offense. It's hard to get into a rhythm with a carousel at the RB position.

I expect Green to be the starter with Taylor and Slaton backing him up on Opening Day. I don't know how bad Slaton's turf toe is, though. That can take you out for awhile.

If his toe is bad, then I don't know if we don't keep either Brown or Walker. Otherwise, they get cut and Walker gets sent back to PS.

I think it's going to depend on who gets cut in the next couple of days. If we see someone we like, then I expect us to sign them.

TJ Duckett may get cut. He would be worth a look
