He hasnt signed yet and probably wont until the night before training camp, but AJ could probably help. Robinson will probably get paid around the same of the 10th pick last year, I think it was Terrell Suggs.

For comparison Terrell Suggs signed on July 30 last year (2 day hold-out) to a 5 year $10.09 mil deal that has some kind of $5 mil escalator clause in the last year that could make it a $15.09 mil deal. Hopefully the Texans and Dunta will work something out the week before camp, but that should be about the price range.

For further comparison, last year's 27th pick Larry Johnson signed a 7 year deal worth a potential total of $8.87 mil including a $3.3 mil signing bonus. The last two year's of the contract, with a total of about $2 mil of salary, are voidable if certain play time incentives are met.

LJ should have known that he should have signed a shorter deal, all he is going to do is ride the bench unless Holmes gets hurt or starts declining.

Maybe he did. We don't know what the playing time incentives are. They can be goofy never will be achieved like Culpepper's several million of his "$100 mil" contract that are tied to his playing on 75% of special teams plays--yeah that's likely, or incredibly easy to achieve like over 30 carries in any one of his first 5 seasons. Still kind of funny to see #10 with a 5 year deal and #27 with any kind of 7 year deal--would bet the 5 yr/7 yr issue was a big part of the Suggs hold-out. Hopefully we sign both of our guys to 7 year deals.
