Still looking for 2 in a row
The Houston Texans, who entered the league in 2002, have now played 34 regular-season games without notching back-to-back wins. Excluding the Texans, the NFL added nine expansion franchise since 1960, and none had taken more than 28 contests to put together a two-game winning streak. Here is a list of how long it took each of the expansion clubs to register its first consecutive victories:
Team -- Expansion year -- Games Cleveland -- 1999 -- 19 Jacksonville -- 1995 -- 6 Carolina -- 1995 -- 7 Seattle -- 1976 -- 28 Tampa Bay -- 1976 -- 28 New Orleans -- 1967 -- 20 Atlanta -- 1966 -- 13 Minnesota -- 1961 -- 21 Dallas -- 1960 -- 14 ---from espn.com |
forget about the 2 in a row...hell this season we are still looking for number 1....lets start with that one and then look for a winning streak.

That is a stat I'm sick of hearing about. I'm ready to win 10 in a row and put that stat and the rest of the AFC South to bed!!

Bring on the Raiders, baby!!!!! :spot:

and we get to see the raiders play tonight.
|
Since the Texans won this week, this means they'll lose 38-3, or something like that.

Hahaha good one, but I hope not if we let the old Raiders score 38 points our defense will be in major trouble. |

The Texans have equaled the longest winning streak in franchise history!

lets just enjoy this win!!!
I think it is sad that we can't even enjoy the win today without someone posting something negative about the team. The Texans took home a great win in KC and this is a building block for the rest of the season. The Texans were getting beat in everything except HEART and they were given a chance to win in the final min. of the game and took it!!!! Last year, they didn't take those chance to win during the last few games of the season and they learned from that and it showed today...if you stay in a game anyone can win and it is up to you to take the chance to win and WIN THEY DID!!!
Great Job Texans!!! James H. Baton Rouge, LA |
