I am a new texan fan i was wounderin what happend to jermain lewis wasent he are returner the first year. and i thout he did a great job

He was cut before last season. I think he did a pretty bad job considering how much he was getting paid to be our probowl returner. Avion Black was the better returner our first year.

He signed with the Jags and then tore his ACL in the second game of the season.

Then what happend to Avion

When you are open and you can't catch balls in the end zone, you get dumped.

JJ beat him in camp last year.

Jermaine Lewis was a cap casualty in February '03 and was not with the team during training camp last season.

The return specialist competition was between Avion Black, Darrick Vaughn and J.J. Moses for the most part. Domanick Davis was being counted on as a kickoff returner before breaking his hand in camp.

Avion Black was released during the final cuts in late August. I'm pretty sure he's out of the league.
