After you meet the Lord you will never be the same. It's then that your life and your world changes forever and ever. You never understand that fully until that day arrives.

Thank you Lord for changing my life.

    The Commission

I asked the Lord to help my neighbor,
And carry the gospel to distant lands,
And to comfort the sick, but He said to me,
“If you love Me, be My Hands.”
I asked the Lord to go to the dying,
And the orphan on the street,
And visit the prisoner, but he said to me,
“If you love Me, be My Feet.”
I asked the Lord to look to the poor,
And watch over each babe that cries,
And see each man’s need, but He said to me,
“If you love Me, be My Eyes.”
I said to the Lord, “I want to serve You,
But I don’t know where to start,”
“To love is the answer,” He said to me
“If you love Me, be My Heart.”

    My Heart: Christ's Home

    Ephesians 3:14-21 (NKJV)
For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height-- to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

"The men who have done the most for God in this world have been early on their knees. He who fritters away the early morning, its opportunity and freshness, in other pursuits than seeking God will make poor headway seeking Him the rest of the day. If God is not first in our thoughts and efforts in the morning, He will be in the last place the remainder of the day." - E. M. Bounds

    A Scriptual Paraphrase "Personified"

The LORD is my Everlasting God and my Creator. He does not grow tired and weary and His understanding, I cannot fathom. He gives me strength when I am weary and increases my power when I am weak. Even when I grow tired and weary and stumble and fall, when I wait on the LORD He will renew my strength. I will soar on wings like eagles; I will run and not grow weary; I will walk and not be faint.

So I do not fear, for You are with me oh LORD! I will not be dismayed for You are my God! You will strengthen me and help me. You will uphold me with Your righteous right hand. All who rage against me will surely be ashamed and disgraced. Those who oppose me will be as nothing and perish. Though I search for my enemys, I will not find them. All who wage war against me will be as nothing at all, for You are the LORD my God who takes hold of my right hand and says to me, "Do not fear!""

Do you know or have you not heard? The LORD is the Everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the Earth. He does not grow tired and weary and His understanding, no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases power to the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary and young people stumble and fall, but those who wait on the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint.

"So do not fear for I am with you" says the LORD, "Do not be dismayed for I Am your God. I will strengthen you and help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced. Those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish. Though you search for your enemys, you will not find them. All who wage war against you will be as nothing at all, for I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, "Do not fear.""

    The Loneliness of the Christian

    by A. W. Tozer

The loneliness of the Christian results from his walk with God in an ungodly world, a walk that must often take him away from the fellowship of good Christians as well as from that of the unregenerate world. His God-given instincts cry out for companionship with others of his kind, others who can understand his longings, his aspirations, his absorption in the love of Christ; and because within his circle of friends there are so few who share his inner experiences he is forced to walk alone.

The unsatisfied longings of the prophets for human understanding caused them to cry out in their complaint, and even our Lord Himself suffered in the same way.

The man [or woman] who has passed on into the divine Presence in actual inner experience will not find many who understand him. He finds few who care to talk about that which is the supreme object of his interest, so he is often silent and preoccupied in the midst of noisy religious shoptalk. For this he earns the reputation of being dull and over-serious, so he is avoided and the gulf between him and society widens.

He searches for friends upon whose garments he can detect the smell of myrrh and aloes and cassia out of the ivory palaces, and finding few or none he, like Mary of old, keeps these things in his heart.

It is this very loneliness that throws him back upon God. His inability to find human companionship drives him to seek in God what he can find nowhere else."
