Thank you Lord for your promises.

Matthew 8:23-27 (KJV)
And when he (Jesus) was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him. And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep. And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish. And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!
What manner of man is the Jesus that you follow? The God that you can trust completely to take care of EVERYTHING, no matter where He calls you?
Or a man that you must second guess all the time whether he'll do what he says he'll do?
Can you trust Him in all situations? Even in the midst of a life changing or threatening storm?

1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 (NASB77)
23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
24 Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.
A huge, huge promise from God that He who calls, will also bring it to pass. Thank you Lord!

If you are trying to follow the Lord's leading and will for your life, then this is a crucial rule to follow...it is extremely difficult to live by, but may save a whole lot of heartache down the road.
Never run before God’s guidance. If there is the slightest doubt, then He is not guiding. Whenever there is doubt – don’t.
Pray, pray, pray...and wait for the Lord's response.

I've come to the realization that all of what the Lord had promised me in those 'late night encounters' of 2:31 every night have come to fruition in my life. His promises have all come to pass.
He showed me how life could be, and I'm living it. He showed me how I could love my own, and I'm doing it. I use to not care for anything other than what I could get for myself - or for that matter, anybody else but myself - but now I find myself doing just the opposite. I've yearned to have compassion in my heart for others - and I firmly believe this yearning in my heart is there by way of God - and I've done it and I'm capable of doing it.
All praises to God!

My Life is but a Weaving
My life is but a weaving
between my Lord and me;
I cannot choose the colors,
He worketh steadily.
Oft times He weaveth sorrow,
And I, in foolish pride,
Forget He sees the upper,
And I the under side.
Not 'til the loom is silent
and the shuttles cease to fly,
Shall God unroll the canvas
and explain the reason why.
The dark threads are as needful
in the Weaver's skillful hand,
As the threads of gold and silver
in the pattern He has planned.
He knows, He loves, He cares,
nothing this truth can dim.
He gives His very best to those
who leave the choice with Him.

Thanks for the rep friend, and especially the prayers. Appreciate that :)

I don't know where this quote comes from but it sure does speak volumes.
"Gold is the money of kings; silver is the money of gentlemen; barter is the money of peasants; but debt is the money of slaves."
