Slipknot was kick ass! They always put on a good show, and they utilized the entire stage at Verizon. I never realized it was that big! But definitely a show I highly recommend, even if you're not a Slipknot fan. They just do it.

Unfortunately, my ride got there late, so I didn't get to see Trivium. But I heard that they were great and kicked some butt. Wish I could have checked it out.

I liken his body change to Winston being an ex-TE or Daniels being an ex-QB. This guy checked into spring drills a full blown 272 and he is still an underclassman. enjoy your posts Wes.

Most of those 40 times were from when Hardy was a teenager and keep in mind that he weighed in at 238 last year in spring drills but this season weighed in over 270...he just turned 20 in July, so he is still filling out. Most of these early draft profiles have a foundation in the previous years work...so many people think he is still a 240 lb type of player. Hardy has a thick base (big ol NFL bubble butt) and a lower body development of a lineman instead of a linebacker type tweener although he sure can get it moving in a hurry like a smaller man. He has long arms and good instinct...This may sound crazy but I'd compare him to the former LSU great and Giants ex-Pro Bowler Leonard Marshall. Marshall was great vs the run and pass since he had that size and quickness. Now, I'm not saying that he will be as good as Marshall, but when I watch him play I see a lot of the same traits and when he fills out he will be a similar player in style and in body type (mature projection - I think he is going to settle in the 280's or so).

    enjoy your insights,
    V

Robinson is a starter day one. Can fill either Guard position but with Pitts established LG Duke would replace adequate yet ordinary Matt Brisiel. that would help Winston shade more to the outside where he gets beat but cannot leave inside lane track unabatted with Brisiel occupied one on one. Duke would give the Texans offensive line more balance & inside presence with a nasty streak. James Patton (OL coach) along with Kevin Wilson OC now but formerly upgraded from OL coach great stability.

Alot of times great College OT's are converted to RG/LG for skill, size & mobility reasons but I like to grab a guy built to specialize inside, with toughness, size & strength to dominate @ the point of attack. Duke is my #1 rated interior linemen in this draft. The Texans need a mauler, someone to handle the Haynesworths & Hamptons of the world. Schaub needs a better sense of security inside the nose of the pocket, I think a physical presence like Duke really improves spacing & cutback lanes for Slaton too. I would expect the best teams in the league know the importance of interior linemen protecting their franchise, teams like the Giants, Steelers, Cowboys etc... would all take a player like Duke if they could, but they make mistakes too just like Jerry Jones did when he traded away one of their 1st rd. picks to aquire Roy Williams. to me as good as their skill players may be its the start of their impending decline.

what is your assessment of how Duke Robinson would fit in on our OL? I think we've got to replace either Brisiel or Myers this offseason and I don't know if Mack will be there in the second and where we will draft Robinson might be the most elite talent on the board.
