Most of those 40 times were from when Hardy was a teenager and keep in mind that he weighed in at 238 last year in spring drills but this season weighed in over 270...he just turned 20 in July, so he is still filling out. Most of these early draft profiles have a foundation in the previous years work...so many people think he is still a 240 lb type of player. Hardy has a thick base (big ol NFL bubble butt) and a lower body development of a lineman instead of a linebacker type tweener although he sure can get it moving in a hurry like a smaller man. He has long arms and good instinct...This may sound crazy but I'd compare him to the former LSU great and Giants ex-Pro Bowler
Leonard Marshall. Marshall was great vs the run and pass since he had that size and quickness. Now, I'm not saying that he will be as good as Marshall, but when I watch him play I see a lot of the same traits and when he fills out he will be a similar player in style and in body type (mature projection - I think he is going to settle in the 280's or so).
