I know I have been pretty focused to the point of being obnoxious about the Mario issue is a decision that molds a team. You get it right and you can miss on the little ones and still be good. You do the wrong thing and it is very difficult to recover. Only time may heal.
Steelb, to answer your question about the negative rep, I never rep people because I disagree with them, I love people having different opinions because it leads to better conversation and in the end understanding. What I do have a problem with is the way that ones opinions are put fourth. If arguments are based on degrading others or arguing in absolutes then I have a problem with it. Don't worry about the neg rep, I'm usually handing it out at a much higher rate to anyone who presents their pov (any pov) in a sane manner. I hope this explains my rationale, have a great weekend :)
We as fans lack alternatives my friend. Me and Vin have been texting each other about how far this team has to go for years. Yet we still pull up to the tv each sunday. Nothing to do but suffer and scream. Some people on this board still believe we gave up on david carr too early.
Ya' know - for the first time in lo these many years, I've been thinking I could buy a seriously nice TV, speaker system and Blu Ray for the money I spend on season tickets, tail gating, driving 180 miles round trip, etc.
