Bout in about 1992 I saw a similar band , and met the .... Violinist prior to the show and didnt know it , I was kinda rude to the guy. He looked like a complete freak , high waters in a plaid suit and coke bottle glasses .... slobbered all over himself when he talked. Was trying to hit on the girl I was with , she was scared. lol. Once he came on stage and began playing he was a totally different person. For the life of me I cannot remember the name of the band .... But it was incredible.
I still talk to her occasionally , next time I do I'll ask her if she remembers the name.

Glad to have y'all on board!

My personal opinion about the greatest metal band of all time would be Pantera . There's lots of competition, though, so let's hear everyone's take!

I want to go to the Unearth show at Warehouse Live on Sunday...but man, after a home game, I'm not sure I'll have the energy to go and still wake up for work the next day.

Thanks for the invite. I knew there had to be some heavy metal Texans fans out there.

I've been jamming the latest Soilent Green CD, for anyone that likes Southern Metal its definitely worth checking out.

Man, this new Unearth cd kicks butt! It just immediately cranks out with some blistering lead work and some serious jams. I can't wait to hear the whole thing.

    It's my pleasure, man!

I picked up Bury Your Dead's "Beauty And The Breakdown" today on a whim (10% coupon at Best Buy, metal at a discount always kicks ass) . The cover had a sticker that said 'if you like Pantera, Lamb of God, Shadows Fall, and Slipknot', so I gave it a listen on Amazon's short samples. It sounds good, but I've only heard about half of it. I like what I hear so far, tho'. I'm glad that tight rhythms and guitar solos are back 'in style'!

Went and picked up some A7X, Machine Head, the new MegaDeath Anthology, and some Lamb of God this weekend. Needed a metal fix! Was working on uploading my new avatar when I saw the invite, thanks DB.
