The Tennessee Titans and free-agent safety Bernard Pollard have agreed on a one-year deal, according to ESPN's Josina Anderson.

Financial terms of the contract are not yet known.

Titans fans look at this as a signing that will give them their attitude back on defense (a la Haynesworth circa 2009).

I look at it like "uh, why did Bud Adams pick this year to empty his pocketbook when there were years this kind of aggressiveness would have made a bigger difference" kind of feel.

Its still a terrible coaching staff, with a terrible front 7 on defense.

And yes, he does give the Titans defense its first official ******* since Big Al.

Probably because Bud Adams only cares about being competitive enough to sell tickets. Superbowls are for theme songs only.

The plus side for Texans: We'll get a few 15-yarders when Pollard leads with his helmet.

The downside: It'll probably give our guy a concussion and he'll miss time.

They just signed SS George Wilson from the Bills (a better player and before the Pollard signing)....Pollard may not even make the team.
