Wish Troy Nolan was still on the team and Keo else where.

Who made that damn choice. Keo over Nolan in the first place, really retarded IMO

The same guy who kept KJ over Jason Allen. :swatter:

Honestly, what's the deal?

Both Nolan and Demps blew up in worse way than Keo (even after pro-rating their time.)

But I know, some of ya' got to have a scape goat as usual. :)

We picked Nolan up during the season, only to cut him again a few weeks later. He was awful. I was a supporter of his in 09 and 10, but he stunk it up.

Quin's contract per Spotrac (http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/detroit-lions/glover-quin/):

I see 5 years, 24 million. Only a $1 million salary in 2013 ($2.05 mil versus the cap), which explains how the Lions could afford Quin and these other free agents.

Miami is another team doing this with very low first year cap hits pushing off all the hit into later years. Sounds like a recipe for disaster to me.

Looks like they are over the cap, not even couting the rookies they will have to sign.
Somebody will have to be cut or restructured.

#Texans will be looking for a safety who can play both spots, cover & hit. All 4 starting DBs in 2011-12 had CB experience

Sounds like my guy Matt Elam.

Cant say Im thrilled with the prospects of a 5'9" rookie covering a 6'5" TE up the seam ....

Pretty sure he measured 5'10 at the combine. Ed Reed is 5'11. Do you not want Ed Reed either?

If you're that concerned about size then we should just go sign Taylor Mays then. I'm sure he could do it.

Elam was the best Safety in the nation this past year.

Huff would be nice at free safety or strong safety.

What's with all the Michael Huff love?

That guy has done nothing but get trucked in the NFL. Sorry, but I don't think I can get excited if we were looking at him.

I admit I haven't seen much of him the last 2 years but before that he was horrible.

Michael huff would be a downgrade from what we had last year. Michael huff has 0 swag. None. Nada.

If that's the direction we're headed in with the rest of our acquisitions this off season then I'll just go ahead a mentally write this year off.
