That was a heck of a game. Very enjoyable.

Hope to see you at the Ponderosa real soon.

I am convinced JJ is going to pay it forward next week at Reliant and fumble a crucial punt.

Then you can thank us.

Oh yeah..... he was given an opportunity to make amends & he did.

Really helped that no one felt like he needed to be covered. He's been setting up the Broncos for about 6 years on that one.

I am one that did not want to see him go! Glad he's got a good coaching staff to help him along with his career.

Both the Ravens and Denver had playmakers today, courtesy of the Texans!! AND we still have KMart and Manning!:headhurts:Nice work RS!!! (to lazy to look up the sarcasm smilie!)

Jacoby was already on the Ravens roster last year in the playoffs anyway. Ill never forgive him for that muffed punt.

He still cost us the win last year ... f-him.

Yup, just an unforgivable sin far as I'm concerned. Glad he's having success, but I don't want him here.
I feel much better going against the Ravens Vs. the Broncos (and Manning) if the Texans are fortunate enough tomorrow.
So, thank you Baltimore, maybe we can avenge last years game, just be weary of JJ catching punts.

That's good for his second key to the city in Baltimore. Only problem is he played for Houston when he earned the first.

It's funny that he played his first game for the Ravens in a Texans uniform. We should have been given some salary cap relief from Baltimore last year.

Funny, on the drive before his TD, he dropped an easy catch to extend the drive.

Not really... you start a thread about a player a lot of people in houston dont like, what kind of answers do you expect. No sour grapes here, infact i wish we would have just left him in Baltimore last year after the game.

I wanted to keep him, get rid of Watler, play Jacoby as the third/slot receiver & put the new kids in the line up.

We're sitting here with no one to stretch the field & getting #3 WR numbers from our #2.

Jones is average at best as a wide receiver. You act like he made some spectacular catch to win the game. That was all Rahim Moore. Jones also dropped the 4th and 5 conversion, and muffed a kickoff. Keep him.

Jacoby Had 5 years with the Texans to try to do something and he didn't developso a change of scenery is what he needed

Only thing that is consistent about Jacoby is his inconsistency

ravens better pray that something doesn't happen to smith or Bouldin and jacoby needs to step up.

Nah I was rooting for the Ravens.

I also know that a vast majority of the catches that are "must catch", Jacoby won't.

Jealous/bitter/angry? nope. Congrats to your team for moving on.

I disagree. He didn't develop into the #1 receiver like we wanted him to be, but he's a fine #3/4.

No matter what, a lot of people in here will forever hate Jacoby. I don't, but I kinda understand why. We all had big expectations for him that he never lived up to.

As for me, I'm glad to see Jacoby succeeding! As well as Trindon!

That's another one of those goal posts that keep moving.

This game was the equivalent of the game we lost last season. This game, winning this game, puts Jacoby's team in the AFC Championship game.

He muffed the punt early in the game...... but they forgot about that, because it didn't mean crap. The game was on the line, Jacoby was asked to make a play....... Jacoby delivered.

I was more wowed with the safety and his poor play.

Jacoby caught it like he should have. It would have been interesting if the safety played a little better and we would have gotten to see if jacoby would have needed to "go up and get it".

But I will give jacoby props he caught it with two hands like he was catching a punt

Making the probowl was good for hi. The year and glad the change of scenery has done him good.

Around here, that game wouldn't have proven anything. The Ravens are in the exact same position they were in last year; on the road in the AFC Championship game. Regardless how many throws he made, how many drives he kept alive, how many TD passes he threw... it don't matter.

If he don't win next week, he'll be the same Joe Flacco that doesn't show up in "Big Games"

Nope, yesterday's divisional round win..... doesn't count as a big game.

No problem. Now give us Leach back.

I heard Warren Sapp's recap of this game. He said the Ravens were able to establish the running game, which allowed them to go deep on the Broncos defense.

I was like, "What!!" Rice only had 6 touches for 30some yards at the half. Flacco stretched that defense to allow room for Rice.

I still think he will mess up when it means the most, maybe that is this weekend or maybe that is in the superbowl.

Getting cut by Houston was the best thing that could happen for Jacoby's career. He was too content with the Texans. They were unable to inspire him to be a better player while he was here for five seasons.

I have no hard feelings toward the man. Yeah, he screwed the pooch last year in Baltimore, but that was a team loss, not just on one dude.

That being said, I'm still glad the Texans parted ways with him. I do not believe that he would be the same player the Ravens picked up, simply because he was too content with status quo in H-town.

How many of us got a grin as that tying TD pass was in the air. I was sure he would drop it.

It hit me that he had to go in the game against Atlanta. Yates hit him long on the very first play and he missed it. Lucky for him the network did not show the replay.

He still cost us the win last year ... F-him.
:goodpost:

My sentiments exactly. I also find it rather curious that the team against whom he fumbled and gave a playoff win decided to pick him up...JUST as his contract was expiring here. If I were a head coach/GM and my team wins a big game because a guy on the other team commits a STUPID error I sure as hell wouldn't be running on to the field to scoop him up. Seems a tad coincidental to me. If I had a bull on the side of my head and was a former team mate, I would want to THANK him for costing me a trip to the AFC Championship game via his mysterious case of fumble-itis that seemed to be magicly cured the moment he put on a black and purple uniform by breaking his every one of his damned ribs.
