Schaub takes his frustration from his ****ty statistical game Sunday Night out on the Jags and throws for 250 - 300 yards and 2 TDs. Arian rushes 100+ for 2 TD, Walter picks up 50 receiving, Andre 100+, OD 70-80 yds.

Gabbert gets sacked 4 times - Mercilus, Barwin, and two for Watt. Throws an INT to KJax.

Thought Gabbert might be out for this game?

That's actually a bad thing for opposing teams. You want Gabbert to play when you're playing the Jaguars.

I think the Texans better not overlook a divisional game against a team that will have a few extra days of rest, even if they are the Jacksonville Jaguars.

This Texans just came off a toughly fought emotional game, they have to keep the intensity up.

I don't know if Jags be able to score TD against our D maybe 1 TD but I don't see anymore. Am I too confident of Texans' victory over Jags? I don't think so. We win at least by 2 TD likely more than 20 points.

This is a trap game. You better not look over the Jags. They would love to come in here next week and beat us. Remember the early years when we were in the Jags place and they were the better team....I do.
They have had games where they did play well....go look at the Packer game....they played real well the first half.

Anybody can beat anybody every week.....
1-0 every week.....no looking past your next opponent....willl never do that.....

The ultimate trap game. I won't be shocked if the Texans come out a little flat, but there is no way in hell their offense can keep up with ours given our defense and their "last in the league" rating.

Fairly close start, Texans pull away in the 2nd half. Defense once again gives up no TD's.

Final - Texans 31, Jags 9. :koolaid:

I predict the Texans first play on Offense is a run.

This time last year, the Texans were getting their first week of practice without Matt Schaub under center. Luckily they had a bye week, prior to playing the Jags, whom they beat 20-13.

This time this year, the Texans are relatively healthy(minus Cush :crutch: )
Pocket Hercules is OUT. Gabbert is IN. The Jags have health concerns in the secondary and are giving up over 4 yds per carry on the season.

My prediction is more of the same. Run the ball, milk the clock and pass when you have to. Defense will capitalize off Gabbert.

Texans roll to 9-1 on the season with a final score of 32-10 and NO INJURIES

I hope you're right on this. We need to come out and jump on them early and often to give the starters some rest for the Thursday game coming up. I'm hoping Foster gets to sit out the entire 2nd half. If they come out flat, like some are predicting, that's not going to bode well for the Detroit game or for Foster's load. I did read, the Jags will try to go to a hurry up offense. Which will allow more 3 and outs, more ANGER time and more time on the field for that pathetic defense. All the Texans have to do is eat the clock, run, run, run, get 1st downs...score = WINNER!

LOL! AWESOME! I was at that Monday night blow out vs Titans. That guy has the best expression...so true! Jag fans just shake our heads on the decisions this team has made. OK, I will change, if the Jags get blown out...deal?

It's nice, when good games are scheduled for turkey day!

Yup. Every Thanksgiving they have a home game.

That was the biggest play of the day for the Jags! I was there to cheer the fool on! It was great when nobody came to get him! So sad, I can't wait for this season to be over.

I think so. He's probably having a "Maybe I should change my number. David Carr might have broken it" moment.

I want a good game, no injuries, and ALOT of 3rd QTR. OMG...

I predict a Texans victory but Kubiak just doesn't have it in him to bury an opponent and gets ultra conservative in the 2nd half.

Jaguars - 10
Texans - 24

I think Gary will look at Sunday's game as practice for the Lions on Thursday... short week & all, you have to make the most of your opportunities.

So we'll work on our run game, try to get a lot of snaps on film. To this end, he'll instruct Foster to run 3.3 yards, then slip. The important thing here is that OL get on their blocks & influence the L.O.S. and that Foster reads those blocks correctly. There is no benefit to Foster running for 7, 10, or 15 yards before a defender is near him, so he'll keep that flashy stuff to a minimum.

Likewise Schuab will be instructed to go through his progression, but not to pull the trigger until he is on his second pass & not to anyone more than 5 yards beyond the LOS. The objective here is to artificially magnify the Jaguar's pass rush. The goal is for Schaub to work on his Jedi footwork while keeping his eyes downfield.

Kubiak will also challenge Wade to deliver a shut-out. Once the Texans are up by as much as 3 points, he will slow the above mentioned offense down.

I predict, Texans over Jags, 6-0

It looks like he is either trying to do an Aaron Rodgers "Discount Double Check" or he's checking his "junk." :shades:

He's out per the official site (http://www.houstontexans.com/news/article-2/Owen-Daniels-Shaun-Cody-to-be-game-time-decisions/766ae9b8-77f8-4d75-b71f-c06f0e968c71)
Running back Ben Tate has been ruled out for the third consecutive game with a hamstring injury. He was injured in Week 7 against Baltimore and has only practiced once since. Justin Forsett will back up Arian Foster again on Sunday.

103 posts, man my prediction threads are really catching on :)

We need to have a reward for whoever guesses the score 100 percent correct. Like veryone reps the person or something, hell i dunno.

If the starters play every snap I'm going to predict a steam-roll of 31-9 over the Kittie Litters. :fans:

If hell does freeze over and the Jags some how win, I want hear a lot of whining from you Texan fans! Remember, these are professional football players, any given Sunday can happen! All I hope for, is a competive game Sunday! If the Jags can hang w/Texans, that will mean a lot to me....the blow outs are the killers! Here's to a good game and no injuries.

You should be very proud. Your boys scared the bejeezus outta us.

oh and note to your coaching staff: put Gabbert on IR and start Chad Henne the rest of the season. Now.

Proud that finally, we can but Plain Garbage to rest! Henne should start and Gabby eats the pine. Chalk up a BUST for the pick for Gabby. Fire Gene Smith at the end of the season. 0-3 in OT this season. The defensive unit is horrible, still no pass rush and no 2ndary...only bright spots on the defense is Poz and Cox. I'm happy to see Blackmon and Shorts having a potental for a nice WR pair. Gabby is the problem...if MJD would have played yesterday, maybe the Jags might have won? Oh well, was an awesome game. Great rivary and always great games between each other. Good luck for the rest of the season.

Garbage needs to be dumped if they want to clean house, I agree.

There are some prospects in this class that will definitely be better than him.

In the meantime, enjoy the surf and the mock drafts :)

I felt the same way, man. I think our secondary had planned on taking a mini-vaca with Gabbert playing. Henne comes in and we're stuck in la-la land.

mootini, I agree with you on Poz. I liked him a lot coming out of Penn State. It's nice to see him overcome injuries (and the Bills) and become the player I thought he was going to be. Dude's like a JJ Watt type LB, with talent and a lot of heart.
