Wow. Per @JasonColeYahoo on @560WQAM, #Dolphins are potentially negotiating a deal for #Chiefs stud WR Dwayne Bowe.

Per Rotoworld
8/17/2012: Signed a one-year, $9.515 million contract. The deal is fully guaranteed.

According to Yahoo's Jason Cole, Dwayne Bowe "very badly" wants out of Kansas City, but a team source tells the Palm Beach Post he's not being pursued by the Dolphins.
Yahoo's Jason Cole apparently intimated as much in a radio interview before tweeting, "I'm NOT reporting (Kansas City and Miami) are talking trade over Bowe. Not yet, at least." Playing under the franchise tag, Bowe is headed toward unrestricted free agency. With extra second- and third-round picks from the Vontae Davis and Brandon Marshall trades, the Dolphins would make sense as a trade partner, but players like Bowe are rarely shipped out mid-season. He could be franchised again ahead of a potential trade in the offseason.

Makes sense. I'd rather have Bowe than Brandon Marshall anyways. If the Dolphins get him for a 2nd, they would be doing great. Tannehill could use a big WR like him. Personally, I would think the Patriots should be going after him.

All Jason Cole said was Miami would be a logical target for Bowe.

I was asked about another report that the teams were talking. I said I had no info, but that Bowe would be a logical target.

Going to be difficult for any team to deal with a franchise tag midway through the season.

Rumors were that the 'fins would be giving up 5 draft picks in the 2013 draft. 1 first rd, 2 in the second, and 2 in the third

That girl is making stuff up. She originally used Jason Cole as the source -- Cole denied it. Now she's saying Miami will trade a 1, two 2s, and 2 threes for a WR they can sign in this upcoming offseason .... c'mon. :truck:

No way that's true. Giving up 2 second round picks is equivalent to giving up a first. So Miami would give up 2 first round picks plus 2 thirds? If someone is gonna start a fake rumor they need to do better than that.
