Kubiak said he did not know of any cosmetic surgery for quarterback Matt Schaub, who lost a small piece of his left earlobe on Sunday courtesy of an illegal hit by Broncos linebacker Joe Mays.

“He'll be alright,” Kubiak said, smiling. “We'll give him a big hat."

It worries me that Kubiak's joke telling is far too conservative :kitten:

What're you saying? He runs his mouth too much instead of passing the microphone?

Well you know he has those jokes scripted - that probably came straight off that Denny's menu he carries around.

Then when he delivers the punch line....he doesn't even look at the audience to see their reaction.

One of his best jokes:

"Did you hear the one about the halfback pass that walked into a defensive back's hands?...."

And who can resist his magic tricks with the red challenge handkerchief? Now you see a timeout...now you DON'T!!! Poof!"

LOL. This might be the best thread ever.

Strange that so few of them involve Andre Johnson....

Kubiak has nothing on Bum Phillips. Now that is a true modern day Shakespeare.

Thank goodness the start of the interview went to plan - otherwise he'd have been stuck without the faith to audible to an ad-lib joke.

Seriously though, nice to see him trying to mix it up, and it's much better than bitching about the lenient punishment and getting a fine!

Cbs feature on matt schaub (interviewed by shannon sharp.) At one point durring the interview schaub mentioned kubiak sent him a text in the offseason asking him to drive to the airport to pick up Peyton manning.

Yup and the players are laughing inspite of Kubiak's jokes, not because of them...:pop:
