Eeks. All he needed was a banjo.

I like the ending...

Ok, Rutgers coming to town this week.

The look on his face was priceless. Like, "Anybody buy that?? Who wants to talk about the game I haven't screwed up yet, please?"

Didn't his brother die right before that interview?

Wow. Didn't know that. It just says the same day, but whatever, that's tough sailing right there.

Plus that little item that he's WAY in debt.

Didn't his brother die right before that interview?not right before, but he did die this week...so I'd cut the guy a bit of slack. Still a strange way to start a presser. I never thought of yelling at someone to get them to smile...I may start using that around the house and at the job.

According to a release from the school Friday, Smith is attending the funeral of his younger brother Bart, who died Monday -- the same day as Smith's news conference antics, which went viral, and the same day he signed off on new bankruptcy documents. Bart Smith was 53.

His brother may have been about to die when he had that press conference, or his brother passed earlier that day. Either way I agree John L. Smith deserves a bit of slack. He's had a rough couple of weeks.
