No one is staying as late after practices and getting as much extra work as Texans rookie WR Devier Posey. He's also doing a little writing for houstontexans.com (http://www.houstontexans.com) in the form of a rookie diary. Here are his first two installments:

Through three days of training camp, I can already see that it’s going to be a grind. It’s been almost four months since I’ve been drafted, and in those four months, it’s been all work. It’s definitely a lot different than college. This is your job, and you need take it a lot more serious. I’m enjoying that part, though, and enjoying playing football for a living. It’s fun, and it’s always been something I’ve looked forward to.
For me, it’s big just to be able to go into training camp and know that I’m going to be playing in the first game...

It’s the third week of camp, and we’re getting into game preparation. That’s fun, just to get ready to go up against somebody besides our defense. I feel the season getting closer and closer. In preseason, I just want to make sure all my assignments are right and continue to get better every single week and every single day and just become a pro.
My first time traveling as a pro last week was fun. Traveling with teams is the same just about everywhere. The police escort to the airplane...
