View Full Version : Cowboys sign A-train
The Cowboys added some muscle to their running back position Monday, signing Anthony Thomas to a one-year. The transaction will be turned into the league office on Tuesday, when the team is expected to make a few more roster moves. But the addition of Thomas, who has two 1,000-yard seasons in his four years with the Bears, gives the team added depth at running back with Julius Jones and rookie Marion Barber. Thomas, the 2001 Offensive Rookie of the Year, was an unrestricted free agent and the Bears opted not to re-sign him after drafting Texas running back Cedric Benson last weekend

How much cap room do the Boys have left? Like :twocents: ?
As of April 1st, $9,730,000.
Since April 1st, our only notable signees include Glenn ($1.26 cap hit this year) and Thomas (dunno). That should put us somewhere around $7 million plus or minus $500K.
And with a roster of 94 players, there's going to be quite a few that are shown the door. Should be sitting pretty after our draft picks are signed.
