I don't think it was a short week from a practice standpoint, the players gave up/lost their off day (Normally Tuesday), so Monday was the same as a normal Monday, and Tuesday - Friday functioned or will function like Wednesday - Saturday.

I had heard that they had not had contact through Wednesday. It is unlikely that they would schedule contact within 48 hours of a game..........those are usually walk-throughs.
