Attention Fox affiliates in Austin and San Antonio:

Texans: 10-3
Cowboys: 7-6

I'm glad you didn't have the last 8 seconds of today's game...

Yeah, up by 12 with about 6 minutes left, the Giants go down and score. Then kick off, Dallas runs a couple plays and punts with about 3 minutes left. Giants go down and score with about 50 seconds left, make the two point conversion. Dallas drives to about the 30 and spikes the ball with 6 seconds left. Down by 3 points they try for the FG. Bailey makes the first one just fine, but TO was called. Next attempt is blocked and game over.

Amazing ending, I was rooting for the Giants the whole way... :D

You might be right - they were talking about that kids hair. Looks like Jerrah says a single word and the kid reacts, so maybe the exchange was something like this:

Jerry Jones: "Perm..." [shakes head]

Kid w/ Perm: [facepalm of shame]

I don't know. Do you really want to talk to that for 15 minutes?

The last-second timeout on the kick is one of the most chickenshit moves in sports.

Of course it was made popular by the king of classlessness, Mike Shanahan, so its understandable.

It was sweet that time Mike did it and the opposing kicker missed. On the following kick, he sinks it and Shanny about craps himself on the sidelines.

Coming from a Cowboys fan, I have to admit that Jason Pierre-Paul is a beast

I'm glad it happened to the Cowboys, but I agree -- I wish that last-millisecond-timeout crap was outlawed. There should be some point at which, in certain end-of-half situations or in overtime, where if you haven't yet called a timeout once the kicking team is in formation, trying to do it results in a penalty.

I usually love it when it bites coaches in the ass. (Except when it works against the Cowboys, Patriots or AFC South teams not named the Texans.)

I'm sure Jerry already has made a call into the league office demanding the rule be changed.

I love icing the kicker, especially when it backfires. It adds some drama to what is one of the worst aspects of football(fieldgoals).

Jerruh must love the fact that the Giants are undefeated in his palatial play room. Oh well, at least the Jumbotron gives everyone in the stadium an excellent view of all of the Cowboys and Jerruh's loses.:kitten:

I see it as no different than a regular play.

Coaches often call timeout right before the ball is snapped, players keep playing then you find out it didn't count.

It happened in our game against the falcons. Late in the game They went for it on fourth down and they caught the ball for a first but smith called a timeout. Went for it again and didn't get it.

If a coach sees something they dont like right before the ball is snapped they call timeout.

It'd be hard to control because a coach could just say he saw something he didn't like. A guy was lined up wrong. Someone looked confused.

It's strategy. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I've seen it fail about as much as I've seen it work.

 Then how did you feel it when your OWN COACH pulled it last week?

Bah...part of the game. Most kickers say it doesn't phase them.
