I don't have the list, but we do have some flex games coming up for a chance in prime-time right? I know our game vs Atlanta is up for a flex, are there any others? I can see the Giants v Pack winning that flex match-up if they are digestible.

How does that work, any chance for any of our remaining games open for an upgrade to prime time?

Patriots colts has been flexed out of that week for sure, but like you say, Gb v nyg looks a likely replacement.

The only other game definitely flexed out so far is the new years day game. Long way to go to know what might be of most interest then.

The only rule I'm aware of is that they need to give a minimum of 12 days notice for a flex change, so the dec 4 game will be determined by nov 22

That GB v NYG game has been protected by Fox. That won't be the game flexed. Each station (CBS & Fox) can 'protect' one game. The Detroit/New Orleans game will likely be the game flexed.

Let's hope not, but with Drew Brees and Suh that's probably the sexy matchup. We'll get our time "later" in the year.

Would be my guess too.

Also, week 14 vsCIN could be another. DAL/NYG already have that spot, so might not be changed at all.

And if the Titans game decides the division or a wild card that could make it as well. Every game in week 17 is between divisional opponents though, so it's doubtful.

The Texans might not get flexed to Sunday night, but they could still see games moved to 3:00.

These are the only two primetime games I'm concerned with us getting:

AFC Championship Game:
January 22nd, 2012

Super Bowl XLVI:
February 5th, 2012 Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana

It is usually for Sunday Night Football.

Without Schaub, our flex scheduling chances are pretty slim.

the GB vs NYG game is protected

the Steelers are on Sunday night the week before so i've heard that they wont flex that game

the Detroit vs. N.O. game is really the only other one they would flex other than ours but Detroit is coming off of their Thanksgiving primetime game

so dont we have a good chance?

also, if we dont get flexed to sunday night, any chance we get changed to the 315 game?

If Leinart steps in and plays well folks will be interested.

I'd say nationally, Leinart leading the Texans to prominence is a big story that would garner interest...

He was a top 10 pick and may have been #1 overall had he come out the season before.

Could have been top 3 anyways had Bud Adams not had a think for sausage breath...:vincepalm:

Agreed, but I don't think he'll get that chance. The decision "deadline" I believe is before they have to play in Jacksonville.

Yeah...that's true...

But I was really talking about the rest of the year...Thought I saw someone mentioned possibly being flexed later on in the year...

Don't know what kind of match-ups we will be having, but who knows:shrug:

It's possible, but I wouldn't like it. The game will be on fox and Dallas will already have the 3:00 PM game here in Austin. If it doesn't get flexed to the late night game, I hope they just leave it alone entirely.

I hope they leave it like it is. I DON'T want a Sunday night game, National TV or not!! BUT, since I don't want it, I am sure it will probably happen!! :scarygirl:

It's OK, the Texans don't do well in prime time anyways. A win's a win regardless of what time of day it's played :D
