Seen him make like 2 catches.

Well, if he doesn't get 30 catches this year, then we don't give up a 7th for him. Right?

Seen him make like 2 catches.

He was brought here to be the 4th/5th WR and ranks somewhere on the priority target list behind AJ, Daniels, Foster, Dreeson, Tate, Walter, Jones, and Casey.

Short answer: Probably never. On the plus side we keep our 7th rounder.

I thought that was Brandon Lloyd's case in St Louis...

Ok, found it:

If Mason catches 33 or more passes, the Jets receive a seventh-round pick in exchange for the veteran wideout. If Mason catches 32 or less passes while with Houston this season, the Jets will receive nothing in return.

Ought to give the mock drafters some hope that they still get to pick someone in the 7th! :D

He's old, his best days are well behind him and there is a reason the Jets let him walk - He couldn't replace Jerricho Cotchery in the slot...there was too much drop off. I'm not expecting much.

Derrick Mason looks a lot like Eric Moulds out there, doesn't he?
