BTW, It's official. We lose v. Baltimore. Yes, Sterling Sharpe picked the Texans over the Ravens... Of course, he was the only one....

I hope he keeps it!! I like long hair on men, esp football players, and I was PISSED when Cush got his cut! Dude was SEXY as all get out BEFORE the hair cut! I liked his mohawk too! :heart:

I been there too, hazing cuts that is. They look worse than anything!!! I'm about like Corrosion, as soon as I cut it I wish I hadn't. Also, I look kinda stupid with short hair. Probably because I never cut it short. And I have a big head hahaha....


Funny story about that song, my history teacher thought I knew it (I didn't) and sang it to me....I was just like....huH? The next day he brought in the song, a few hippie relics AND...a picture of him: with hair down his back!! Crazy.

When the aging hippie factor got too great, I chopped it off.When I got out of the Devil Dogs where it was "high and tight" I allowed hair to grow long and curly. I seemed to always go opposite way others are. In 60s I wore it short, 70s long, 80s sort of medium. As I got older, vanity set in because a woman told me I looked younger with shorter hair. If she had not been cute, I probably would have ignored her. Now, I'm just pleased I have hair.

Since we are the "Texans", our players are supposed to represent our great state and it's people. Therefore I think deep east TX needs an ambassador. So I'm calling on all the Texans vets...

I used to have long hair in my youth, but it didn't last long. The summers in Texas put an end to that, not because I wanted to look normal.

Because it makes him look more like a woman, and it will sound more reasonable when he has to explain to the NFL why he's pregnant!! (At least we learned something from the whole Cush debacle).

I've thought about growing mine back out...but it's a huge pain in the ass! Seriously, I've got really effed up hair on top of my head that just frizzes out. If I had straight hair, I probably never would have chopped it off.

My 9 yo son is growing his hair. I think he's wondering when we are going to tell him to get it cut. But honestly, as long as he keeps his grades up and his behavior is positive, I could care less about hair. I asked the school principle about hair codes recently, and she said no mohawks or designs cut into it. But she did not care about hair length. Pretty cool of her.

I don't want my son to be a conformist to superficial nonsense, so what the heck, grow it like your hero Clay Mathews, son. :howdy:

Wow, I had shoulder blade length hair back in the day, but the day was way before digital photography. I keep threatening my wife I'll grow a pony tail. My daughter wears one of my dog tags and carries an old drivers license with my long hair. Random thoughts.
