On the defense...
"The defense has brought the team together more than it ever was last year.. It's something we didn't have in the past and it really boosts the confidence of this team.."
If you guys go 3-0 this week and get a big win in NO do you think that changes anything?
"Last season we started 2-0 and I think we celebrated a little too much and it maybe went to some of our heads... This year it's different after that win in Miami... guys were happy with the win, but didn't celebrate as much... I think it's easy to go from a high to low... We've never started 3-0 before, but I don't think so cuz we have another great team coming in the week after.. so we're not talking about it... we just have to go out and win, that's the main focus... we wanna go 1-0 every week... so we plan on going 1-0 this weekend."
On the Cortland Finnegan skirmish last year...
"It's a situation I wish I was never in, but at the same time... I'm not gonna allow someone to come out and try to punk me."
