Oh yeah. I don't have a big TV, so its hard to follow the football when the camera is on perpetual wide view.

Well hell, I have a 32" and even MINE is hard to see players' jersey numbers when they're pre-snap camera angle.

And all the graphics and animation stuff they plaster on the screen, to promote things for the Texans, is annoying too.

It's a hack job all the way around, IMO.

And now an interview with Reliant goober.

This has been a most unenjoyable broadcast experience. Just think if we had sucked ass tonight, how much more worse would it have been??? A LOT.

Geez, this guy is just droning on and on and on and on...you lost more good will with folks than you earned with that rambling speech. Thanks, Reliant!

People need to remember that OgBo looked OK with our 1st and 2nd team guys last week. He was THE only running back for the whole game, so he might have dead legs...plus, he's running with 2nd/3rd teamers tonight.

Leinart is running with 2nd/3rd team o-line and WRs.

Garrett Graham could have made that catch on 3rd down, but he didn't.

I'm much more comfortable with Leinart's skills than Dan Orlovsky's. MUCH MORE.

You have to remember that this guy is probably looking at (and always had been while here) being 5th string behind Foster, Tate, Ward, and even Slaton.

He's the 5th best RB on the team, what do you guys expect out of that? We need 5 Pro Bowl-caliber RBs now? Guys gettin' a little greedy, IMO.

He's an emergency option and might not even make the PS. For that, he's doing "OK" right now. I never said he's All-World.

Maynard doesn't look right.

Am really hoping Hartmann wins the job. He's a good emergency K in case Rackers pulls a quad or hammy, etc. And the guy can punt, too. Kickoffs also.

He's a 3-tool guy.

You have to think they've got Hartmann in the lead, and keeping both guys through the preseason just in case something happens to Hartmann. Right? Just doing the due diligence since no cuts are needed right now?

3-hour game. Way too many commercial breaks. A review of every single TD that was scored, even when Foster ran un-touched into the end zone back in the first half. LOL.

I have a feeling that the TD Review rule is going to be axed next year.

What's sad, is that the NFL should be able to abolish ANY new rule if it's not working in the preseason. Teams use preseason to try out players, plays, and see how it works...so should the NFL with it's new rules.

The NFL is going to turn into an over-legislated mess just like our nation. Take two great things and fugg them up because you think you're bigger than America and NFL. Typical human behavior: Screw up a good thing.

The past few days, some people have been actually doubting Tate due to his absence for the hammy injury and subsequent resting period.

He's easily the RB2 on this team, with Ward as RB3 insurance.

Slaton is not PS eligible, but he might be retained. OgBo will be cut and we'll try to put him on the PS.

His ability to shift his hips and keep moving FORWARD while doing it, is amazing.

He is decisive. He sets himself up to make moves on guys. It's like he can make defenders play in slow motion and he can see what to do next.

And Foster??? Holy hell, did he ever put on a move for that TD or what? Chris Berman is going to be using his "Whooooop!" call when he shows that highlight on ESPN.

Too many positives to mention here, actually. Two straight preseason games where both sides looked COMPETENT and in control of themselves, rather than being defined and painted into a corner by the opposing team.

If you've got a decent internet connection, you can pay $20 to get the Preseason Ticket on NFL.com and you can watch most of the games live (a few are blacked out) but you can also watch ANY game any time you want after it's over.

I'm just going to say that I watched the game again last night on NFL.com's Preseason Ticket and the feed was from the New Orleans broadcast. That broadcast was INFINITELY better.

It was also interesting to see the broadcasters come out all rah rah for the Saints and then have to give the Texans their due.

I don't know if both the Houston and the New Orlean's broadcasts have access to the same cameras but it's a night and day difference.

Spencer Tillman is so passionate about Texans football that he called Hartmann "Rackers." I guess he doesn't understand that #2 and #4 are two different people. I guess he fails to realize that Hartmann has been kicking off like the whole freakin' preseason so far.

Spencer Tillman calls #50, Bryan Braman, "Brah-man" and has his cohort correct him on the pronunciation. LOL.

There was several other goof-ups by him, as well. :vincepalm:
