What's the status on him? Is he nursing an injury of some kind that i didn't know about?

I was wondering why i didn't see him on Monday night, but figured his chances were already really slim of making this team especially since we have some really good looking young receivers already and with the new kickoff rules and everything.

Once they announced the new kickoff rules, he probably knew his NFL dream was over.

I don't think the new kickoff rules make any difference, there was little chance of him making the team anyway. He's a one dimensional player with no place for him on a 53 man roster.

He's out nursing a hamstring injury.

Obyinahooga has a better chance of making the team this year than Holliday does. Kubiak loves those multi-use players, and someone who's as specialized as Holliday is, has to be very very special to make the team. I don't wish him bad luck or anything, I just don't think he has a chance in hell of making the team.

The transition from running back to receiver obviously hasn't gone as smooth as anyone would like. Read somewhere he needs to prove that he can learn the playbook.

And then as someone said, the new kickoff rules means he has even less impact for the team.

Unfortunately, it's looking like the only value he has left is for the virtual Madden version of the Texans.

he's still young enough to try and pursue that track career.

Unless Holiday can display his ability on the field he will get a Holliday. I'll give Tate a little more time because of high pick status & RB need. WR depth is there while Manning will return kickoffs & Jacoby punts.

Trindon Holliday would be a waste of a roster spot.

Maybe he could fill 1/2 a spot?
