I am watching for Dickerson and I interested in the how Brett Hartman does(haven't heard too much except on YouTube with a 90 yard kickoff (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cakCcliNPXg) and on another kickoff with a 4.63 hang time (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ueugOWJ9aeo))

*edit* looking up punting right now*

Mario Williams. I want to see how he attacks the edges while standing up. I think he's the key to this defense being successful. If he can create constant pressure on the QB, then the rest of the D will look much better. It will also be funny to see him drop into coverage if they call it.

Matt Leinart, I am interested to see what he does since good things about him have been coming out of camp. Also, I want to see what T.J. Yates does.

I started making a list, until I realized I'm basically listing everyone on the team.

JJ Mutherluvin' Watt.

If he blows people up, it means VERY good things for our new defense.

Watts.

If he is a beast this year our defense will be hard to contain.

Watt. Let's see what all that 'unblockable' talk was about

There are several players I want to see, but the first person I thought of was JJ Watt.

I agree to an extent, but I have to go with Mario. JJ was drafted to play a specific position in our new 3-4 scheme, so I'm almost expecting him to be a perfect fit for his spot. Mario is someone who could be a huge factor for us if he makes the transition. I just don't know how long it's going to take for him to get used to playing a new technique and if it's going to work to 100% of its capability.

Yeah, pretty much this. I want to see, even if only for a few plays, how our starters do. I want to see all the young'uns do their stuff as well. I want to see Hot Tub Boy do his thing.

And before any of you *)(&^%!! start up with something like they are all young'uns to me, I'll have you know I've been watching football longer than most of your parents.

As much as I want to say D, I'm expecting them to go all zzzzzzz-vanilla on me.

RB's I guess, there's a few people with lots to prove.

I want to see if Casey can be enough of a lead blocker to stay at FB.

Also with Allen starting for Joseph, I will be keeping an eye on him and Jackson and how they do against the Jets first team O. Let the battle for the #2 CB begin.

I got my eyes on Watt. Been hearing too much about him.

Also, my eyes are on Cushing. Is he for real, or does he really need
his banned vitamins?

The entire defense. I want to see strong fundamentals from that unit tonight. I don't expect them to dominate right away, but I'd like to see good tackling, speed, and a good pass rush.

Texans need to let the BEST one play not the highest draft choice.
Admit you screwed up another 1st round draft and move on.

Ummm what? What has KJ done wrong. He made a tackle out of a deep coverage. Then they threw a short slant under him.

Y'all need to learn football before coming on here. Wtf

Texans went 2 out of 3 on my list of things I wanted to see. Good relentless pass rush by the second unit tonight. Braman, Adibi, Nading, Jamison all played well. Secondly, the Texans defense played with some speed which was something that was lacking last season. But tackling was piss poor and if I'm Wade I'd be worried about this area. We'll be facing the likes of Reggie Wayne, Dallas Clarke, Maurice-Jones Drew, and Chris Johnson twice a year, so we MUST tackle properly. The special teams tackling was poor too, but the entire special teams unit was bad tonight.
